Synopsis :
A championship fin swimmer ends up bedridden after his heroic rescue of drowning passengers in a catastrophic bus accident. Informed he would never be able to compete again due to his injuries, but he challenges fate by returning to his sport and breaks his 11th world record.

Synopsis :
Les jeunes violonistes et amies Marie Wendel et Kim Cheng sont en finale du concours Reine Elisabeth en Belgique. Une fausse note et la carrière de Marie s’arrête, tandis que Kim s’envole vers le succès.
Déçue, Marie végète dans le souvenir de sa sœur Clara, pianiste, décédée dans un accident de voiture. Avec elle, Marie formait Alter Duo, un ensemble fusionnel. Il faudra le flair de Max Kieffer, un agent, pour la relancer aux côtés de Luigi Faena, un pianiste en quête d’une nouvelle carrière. Orion&Sirius sera leur duo parfait jusqu’à sa disparition volontaire.
Comment Marie pourra-t-elle se reconstruire ? Une seule solution : partir sur les traces de Luigi dans l’Italie de sa jeunesse. Là-bas, avec l’aide de Francesco, un ami de Luigi, elle affrontera ce qu’elle ne voulait pas voir : l’arthrose de Luigi.
Marie veut alors ranger son violon et oublier son Alter Duo. A moins que Kim ne reprenne la partition de leur amitié pour lui montrer une nouvelle façon de vivre la musique.
